Indirect Tax Manager

A world leading organisation is looking to recruit an Indirect Tax Manager, reporting to the Director of tax.

The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure, be resourceful and must possess a mix of strong UK and EU VAT technical knowledge and compliance experience. They will be responsible for maintaining both compliance and risk management process control as well as managing tax system issues.

Responsibilities include:

* Actively managing relationships and providing assistance with VAT compliance for the company's overseas entities in Europe and Asia.
* Managing various tax system issues, changes and new registrations.
* Managing queries from the HMRC and liaising with the finance team on accounting issues.

Knowledge of VAT legislation and a strong understanding of EU VAT Directives and compliance issues are essential. The candidate must have a relevant tax qualification ideally CTA qualified, experience of tax systems especially Oracle R12 E Business Tax and/ or Vertex is desired but not essential.
