The Professional Services team is focused on providing implementation, consulting and training services, working with external clients from a variety of industry sectors, many of which are multinational corporations based in the UK and across the EMEA region.

We are currently looking for a Senior Manager to join the team, to lead the team working on professional services engagements of ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Compliance, Determination and FATCA, with potential for other product implementations to be added in future. The team works on a variety of projects, ranging from relatively short, focused assignments through to larger-scale longer-term engagements. We have the opportunity to see projects through from the very start, working with clients and our Business Development team during high-level project scoping and work estimate phases, through all other phases of the project life cycle – requirements gathering, design, solution configuration, testing, training and roll-out. We also work closely with colleagues from all other areas of the Tax and Accounting business, including Product Management and Development, Customer Support and Sales, and with our Certified Implementation Partners (CIPs).

Many members of the team are qualified tax or accounting professionals, often having worked in either consulting or professional services firms previously or in-house in a tax/accounting team. As well as tax and/or accounting industry/consulting experience, the team shares an interest and skills in technology.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

o Overall responsibility for client deliverables and solutions, assuming ownership for project planning, work product, quality control, client management and for leading the efforts of the engagement team.
o Regular direct contact with clients, by email, telephone and face-to-face, throughout the entire project life cycle. You might be meeting with clients to discuss their requirements, discussing and agreeing a work estimate and statement of work, or reviewing specifications or design documents produced by members of the team.
o Ensuring client satisfaction and acting as an escalation point for resolution of any issues arising during the course of an engagement.

o Directing projects from initiation through to go-live, and typically working on multiple complex projects/issues at a time.
o Managing the team’s workload and resource planning needs. This will include working with the business development team to produce work/fee estimates and statements of work.
o We operate in a matrix environment so you should expect to interface internally with other areas of the Tax and Accounting business, as well as with external clients. You would need to develop key internal relationships with peers across the organizaton and with our Certified Implementation Partners (CIPs)
