Our client is a world leader in both upstream and downstream energy markets. Despite a challenging period for the energy industry they have experienced exceptional growth over the recent period and they are currently seeking a Corporate Tax Manager.
Description
Within the tax operations and reporting team, the successful applicant will have a broad range of responsibilities across direct taxation. This will include the following areas:
* Preparation and calculation of UK corporate tax returns
* Overseeing corporate tax calculations for international entities
* Monitoring reporting procedures across different nations to ensure all deadlines are met
* Developing policies and procedures to ensure best practices
* Liaise with broader finance and tax planning team where necessary
* Maintain communication with regulatory agencies both HMRC and agencies abroad in any matter relevant to direct taxation
* Ad hoc duties as necessary
Profile
* Professionally qualified with at least two years post qualified
* Industry experience in Oil and Gas is an advantage
* SAP is advantageous but not essential
* Exposure to tax affairs of an international supply chain including reporting numerous borders
* Exceptional work ethic and self motivation
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
