My client is a Big 4 firm in the heart of London. Their diverse team from various backgrounds is growing rapidly. The team is leading in the marketplace as they offer bespoke US/UK services to High Net Worth private clients, primarily those in the financial services sector, many of whom are senior executives in the asset management, investment banking and hedge fund space. Their services include a broad range of tax consulting covering cross-border planning; estate and gift tax planning; tax efficient business structuring; expatriation advice; trusts; as well as handling personal federal, state and local individual tax compliance with a slight corporate element. This team has significant investment from the wider firm so be rest assured that you will have a genuine opportunity to progress with in the role and the firm.
The firm currently seeks a US/UK Tax Senior Associate, Associate II and Assistant Manager.
* You will be the first reviewer on your engagements
* You will assist with both domestic and international tax services for UK and US clients
* You will be the first point of contact for clients on your engagements.
You will have strong tax technical knowledge in either the UK and/or US tax system. You will be qualified to ATT or EA as a minimum requirement. CTA, CPA or equivalent level are highly desirable.
Significant experience in the provision of US/UK compliance services as well as strong technical abilities in both US and UK tax and in the application of the US/UK Double Tax Treaties. If you have experience creating complex workpapers and working in GoSystems, CCH, BNA Tax Planning or RIA Checkpoint, this is highly desirable.
