Job Description
The Private Equity Tax Senior / Manager will be responsible for:
Preparing tax workpapers
Meeting client deliverable due dates
Developing and implementing solutions to partnership tax allocation issues within the framework of our proprietary software
Interacting with internal fund accounting staff on an as-needed basis to provide tax accounting guidance
Assisting in the maintenance and testing of our software, workpapers & procedures by analyzing changes in tax and industry requirements and suggests improvements
Performing research of relevant tax laws, regulations and rulings to determine the proper tax treatment of issues
Analyzing company financial statements
Required Skills
3+ years of Private Equity Tax experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Previous experience in a Public Accounting and/or Private Industry
Experience with Tax adjustments related to investments and partnership capital transactions
Microsoft Excel proficient
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Desired Skills
Knowledge of Foreign Reporting requirements
