This is a broad European Tax role for a leading asset management company with a large real estate presence. A varied commercial role that has a core focus on corporate tax but you'll also manage transfer pricing, Indirect tax, Employment tax and Tax governance for the European jurisdictions. Further you will play a key part in M&A and tax planning projects. The ideal candidate would have a background in corporate tax and also real estate experience - and would like to gain experience in other taxes. This role suits someone highly commercial, keen on a role with real variety where you can leave your mark.
Role highlights;
* Responsible for management for all European taxes for the corporate group across EU jurisdictions
* Management of Corporation, Indirect, Employment and Tax governance for the European group (including SAO)
* Work with senior stakeholders on structuring, tax transaction support in particular on real estate acquisitions and disposals
* Provide input and advice on tax planning and M&A activity
* Oversight of external service providers and support multiple business lines with a focus on Real Estate
* Input to variety of ad hoc projects related to payroll, employment and expat tax
* Take ownership of other tax areas such as Indirect taxes (VAT) across Europe
* Support with tax accounting and compliance
* Take ownership of Transfer Pricing reviews and projects
* Maintaining relationships with revenues in each jurisdiction

* Proven Corporate Tax background
* EU tax experience preferred
* Real estate tax experience preferred
* Financial services experience an advantage
