International Tax Manager job on a 12 months contract requires an experienced International Tax Manager or Senior Manager, to work in this in-house tax job.
Taking ownership of a region and providing operational tax support to the related business units, this role will also have the opportunity to lead on certain tax projects.
Working along side a supportive and technically astute international tax team, the key areas of responsibility will include:
* Supporting the business units with their compliance and reporting obligations.
* Business partnering with the business units to monitor country developments and to identify tax planning opportunities.
* Providing tax support on group rationalisation projects (liquidation, mergers, recapitalisations, tax de-registrations)
* Providing ad hoc VAT support and assisting the Group Reporting & Governance Manager where required.
International tax jobs are always interesting due to the different stakeholder interaction and the resulting variety of work; and this role will prove to amplify this.
To be considered for this opportunity it is imperative to have proven experience of working across different jurisdictions in an international tax position, with an emphasis on the operational tax side.
The role will be largely worked from home with 1 day per week being based in their Surrey office in order to attend multi-stakeholder meetings.
