This leading financial services organisation is looking for a Vice President of Tax Accounting & Reporting to join the tax team based in Zurich. This is an extremely dynamic and complex international tax environment and will present you with interesting and challenging work. This represents a key hire for the group and you will be responsible for the group-wide IFRS, US and Swiss GAAP tax accounting & reporting processes. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Tax Accounting & Reporting, your responsibilities will encompass analytical and forecasting related tasks with the focus being on ETR and deferred tax balances; assisting in the implementation of a tax accounting software to be carried out throughout the group; and, supporting the analysis of deferred tax balances.
You will be a qualified accountant with excellent knowledge of international tax accounting standards preferably gained in a multinational organisation, financial services company or in professional services. Practical knowledge of Tax Accounting software tools is an advantage.
Ambitious, bright and an excellent team player, you must have first rate communication and analytical skills.
You must be fluent in English, German is a plus.
