The office of this Top 50 practice have a reputation for delivering a high calibre of service and can boast several FTSE and a number of AIM listed clients among their list of repeat business. In addition to the bigger items, they also service the needs of many HNIs, families and OMBs.

While fostering a reputation for excellence, the fabric of the tax team is build from a supportive base, including multiple training opportunities, including the acquisition of professional qualifications such as the CTA and AIIT and ongoing advice and guidance throughout your career. The firm want to ensure that you achieve all that you can and all that you want to and are proud to play their part.

As a result of business growth, an opportunity has arisen for a VAT manager to join this friendly VAT team and undertake a number of duties including:

* Managing VAT registrations and returns.

* Managing client and partner queries.

* Undertaking projects and potentially becoming involved in delivering publications, utilising research skills in relation to legislation.

* Providing a varied compliance and consultancy service to existing and new clients both in person and over the phone.

* Developing the practice in conjunction with the marketing department through business development.

* Investigation and resolution of tax queries.

* Assisting junior staff with personal development through raising VAT knowledge.

Ideally, you will have had several years of experience undertaking VAT work at an assistant manager or manager level. If you have had any experience of undertaking business development and have achieved qualification-status already, this role may be of particular interest to you.
