Based in Oxford this Top 10 firm of Chartered accountants are looking to recruit a VAT Manager to identify and provide compliance and advisory services to a varied and challenging portfolio of clients based both in the UK and internationally.

You will develop existing relationships and identify opportunities for cross selling the firms services in this client facing position. Acting as first point of contact for your clients you will also take a commercial approach to the advice you give, taking time to discuss their affairs in simple business terminology and explaining how to implement changes to reduce their liabilities.

In addition to the above you will be given responsibility to manage and mentor a team of professionals ensuring they are challenged and motivated at all times and working as a team unit to meet deadlines.

This role will suit someone who is keen to utilise the resources of a market leading firm to build their career and ensure their technical knowledge and consultancy skills are maintained at a high level.

You will have a solid background based in Indirect Tax and be capable of demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
