The Role
You will report to a Senior Manager yet be offered all the autonomy and responsibility you would expect from a managerial role. Your responsibilities will include:
*Ultimate responsibility for a client list and all incorporating issues.
*Technical, personal and administrative development of seniors and assistants.
*Final review and sign-out of tax returns.
*Managing work in progress, debtors and bills.
*Risk management assessment and communication with Senior Managers and Directors.
*Continually developing and updating own technical knowledge.
*Development of specialist technical area.
*Coordination with Senior Managers on work-flow and staffing issues.
*Participating in decision-making within the management group.
*Good interaction with all levels of staff.
*Dealing with personnel issues as well as acting as a mentor.
*Overall responsibility for allocated staff.
*Writing and conducting allocated staff appraisals.
*Competent professional and business judgement.
About You
To succeed, you will have:
*Previous experience at Manager level.
*High level of up to date tax issues.
*Good communication and organisational skills.
*Ability to work to time based targets.
*Ability to work accurately.
