Your remit will be to take the lead for all VAT issues that impact this cutting edge business, and thus play an integral role in the identification, design & implementation of tax planning, advisory and compliance opportunities for the UK. The successful candidate will also provide timely advice on new and existing business activities, manage risk and seek continuous improvement.
You will oversee a VAT junior, who will assist you in ensuring the Group’s UK compliance and audit obligations are met and play a critical role in HMRC correspondence. Therefore, a willingness to be hands on is important.
