Working within the International Tax Department, the candidate will primarily assist the Senior International Tax Manager with UK tax compliance matters, tax accounting and management and review of effective tax rates.
Managing the process for the preparation of all UK corporation tax returns for the group. The successful candidate will be accountable for:
Providing advice and support to the Finance group to enable them to prepare all UK corporation tax returns to a high standard with an optimum filing position;
Reviewing and advising on the above returns prior to final approval before submission;
Review of tax provisions for monthly and year end provisioning purposes and providing advice to the Finance Groups, quarterly reporting and managing data within the Tax reporting systems.
Monitoring and management of effective tax rate;
About you:
*Strong foundation in UK corporate tax matters, including tax compliance (obtained either in practice or within industry);
*Strong tax accounting experience particularly in relation to deferred taxation principles.
*Understanding some basic principles of International Taxation
*Qualified or partly qualified as either ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA.
*Exposure to international tax issues (including US tax issues and transfer pricing);
*US GAAP experience is desirable.
