Working within the Private Client Group you will work towards the growth
of the Trust and tax function. Specifically, the role will oversee and
control all Trust activity for the firm including technical support and
proactively looking for work on tax planning opportunities and new
services through networking and existing clients.
The Role:
-Promote the Trust and tax function in the firm internally and externally
-Monitor compliance work to ensure delivered within budget constraints
-Work with clients to develop opportunities in relation to further work
-Positively seek out and work on new products and services
-Lead or assist with tax consultancy assignments, particularly IHT
-Identify tax, particularly IHT, planning opportunities and convey the
potential rewards and risks to clients and prospects
-Develop new clients, attending new and existing client meetings, building
up good working relationships with clients and colleagues
-Assist with the implementation and roll out of new tax planning services
and products to the firm
-Assist with tax administration, dealing with correspondence with HM
Revenue & Customs and clients
-Provide technical support, guidance, feedback and training to existing
staff including review of work prepared by other staff
-Represent the Firm at seminars, presentations and other events
You will need:
Experience of trust and capital taxes and personal taxes
Strong clients skills
