Mid-Tier firm with an exceptionally strong client portfolio requires a Trust Assistant Manager with a focus on private client tax. This Central London based firm has a reputation of having a strong tax team and wants to strengthen this position by taking on board a talented candidate, in order to attract this type of candidate, this firm is willing to pay up to 50k plus performance based benefits.
Reporting to the Trust Director and Partners and working alongside staff across the department, the key responsibilities are as follows;
- Providing trust, estate and charity compliance services to clients and deal with administrative matters and assisting with provision of planning and advisory services
- Completing accounts and tax returns for trusts, estates and charities
- Training and Reviewing junior staff members' work and ensuring work produced by them is correct and in an appropriate style
- Analysing client affairs comprehensively and assisting junior stadd to spot opportunities for clients
You will be CTA or STEP qualified or equivalent, with several years experience in trusts, estates and charities. Furthermore, you should have a solid technical background particularly in relation to tax planning for clients and all round direct tax knowledge.
