KennedyPearce is currently looking for exceptional Tax Directors to join this leading Tax Firm.
The Transfer Pricing team sits within the International Corporate Tax unit of the Firm's London Tax group. The team comprises 12 staff (15 subsequent to open vacancies being filled).
The Transfer Pricing Director role involves -
* Business development for the Firm's Reading office - absolutely key to the role - The candidate will be expected to work with the partners and directors in Reading to generate work opportunities in the Thames Valley region, both from the client base and external to it.
* The provision of transfer pricing services to, and management of projects for, a wide range of clients from privately/Private Equity owned SMEs to FTSE groups, including value chain planning.
* Building and maintaining transfer pricing relationships with clients where the candidate acts as the project lead.
* Managing and developing the Firm's resources (and its staff) for the successful delivery of consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and overseeing a practical/business-driven approach to client work.
* Whilst successfully extracting maximum value for both the firm and clients from the transfer pricing services delivered, managing risk appropriately for both client and the Firm.
* Winning new clients through networking, business development and facilitating pitches more generally for the Firm, and playing a key role in developing and executing sales and marketing strategy for the Transfer Pricing team.
The candidate will be expected to take responsibility for key assignments for the Firm's most significant clients and act as a Board level influencer. Whilst reporting to the partner responsible for the Firm's transfer pricing function based in London (and part of the firm's transfer pricing team), his/her role in supporting Reading office will entail spending 4 days a week in Reading office and 1 day in London.
