A unique and exciting role for a Transfer Pricing professional with an international company in the oil & gas sector. This role can be based in either Aberdeen or London.
This is a key role which will see the successful candidate taking responsibility for all Transfer Pricing related issues within the Eastern Hemisphere Business Unit. Liaising closely with the Corporate Tax team, the finance function and regional/local operational management, your brief will be to realise financial savings and achieve global improvement targets.
Leading all Transfer Pricing projects and initiatives, your role will involve the following:
? Assessment of current Transfer Pricing practices and standards, proposing and implementing required improvements
? Initiating and driving best practice across the Business Unit in relation to Transfer Pricing
? Raise global awareness regarding Transfer Pricing issues through effective communication and development of strong relationships across the business
? Generate financial savings through more efficient tax planning and set up, reduced and limited exposures and improved advanced flagging of potential issues
? Remain abreast of changes in tax laws (US and International) and communicate relevant information including action plan and proposal with management and peers
? Become recognised as the technical expert and advisor within the company on all Transfer Pricing issues
The successful candidate will hold a relevant professional qualification in either Accountancy or Tax. Ideally, you will have trained with a large firm in the profession and have gained industry experience. You will have an extensive background in Transfer Pricing and be willing to travel internationally. Furthermore, you will be a credible and persuasive communicator who thrives on making a difference and delivering value.
