The client's Transfer Pricing business is recognised as a market leader in developing focused and innovative tax solutions in the area of transfer pricing and supply chain, aimed at reducing their clients tax burden. The Transfer Pricing and Tax Effective Supply Chain Management group is a highly dynamic team comprised of economists, tax experts and business consultants who specialise in offering a high quality and comprehensive advice service to clients.
The teams rapidly growing Thin Capitalisation business specialises in advising clients on financial Transfer Pricing issues. Primarily this involves formulating capital structure strategies that are supportable from a Transfer Pricing perspective, financial modelling, preparing appropriate documentation and negotiating with tax authorities.
The team works on a wide range of clients covering the largest multinationals, private equity houses and the mid-market sector.
The group is currently seeking individuals with relevant thin capitalisation or financial modelling experience to join the team. Whilst the emphasis will be on financial transfer pricing issues, individuals will be given the opportunity to develop their career in the wider transfer pricing team and work on a range of core transfer pricing and supply chain projects.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain consulting tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service

Win work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.

Manage the successful preparation and delivery of thin capitalisation and financial transfer pricing projects, ensuring technical excellence and supervising a small team of analysts and consultants.

Person:

Strong technical skills; a deep and wide knowledge of financial transfer pricing, thin capitalisation and economic modelling.

Client driven and strategically and commercially aware.

Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral.

Able to develop innovative ideas and solutions.

Strong client relationship management skills with ability to develop quality outputs.

Business development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.

Strong Project and financial management abilities, so as to plan and monitor deliverables, approach, budget and timescales.

Effective time management, ability to remain calm when under pressure to meet deadlines and ability to react to changes in project scope and content.
