This firm is a multiple award-winner who boast one of the world’s largest accountancy networks with hundreds of offices in one hundred countries.

The Tax Technical & Training Adviser reports to a director involved in assisting with training policy and operational aspects of the department. The director is responsible for curriculum design, development and delivery and for the day-to-day running of the department.

The successful candidate will work with six other tax advisers in the department and with other practitioners seconded from time to time.

The department is responsible for the design, development and implementation of the tax training curriculum of the firm at all levels from trainee to partner. The curriculum has been reviewed and re-designed and the successful candidate will contribute mainly to the implementation and on-going review of the curriculum. A further review of the curriculum is being undertaken in the light of the changes to be made to the CTA examinations.

You will support the education of those members of staff preparing for their professional examinations for the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

As part of the tax training team, you will be able to utilise your existing broad and sound knowledge of the principles of all UK taxation - although a preference for developing a specialism in income tax and the taxation of employees would be particularly welcome.

Your only obligation will be to demonstrate a keenness to learn and master new areas of tax law and its related disciplines, while offering commitment to maintaining and improving your knowledge and skills both in relation to taxation and best teaching practice.
