Very well established business software company has created a role up to Manager level for a tax and/or tax software specialist to join a product focused team. Reporting to a Director, key aspects of this role include devising new products or product enhancement in response to client needs, writing of tax software specifications and liaison with IT developers, managing of the QA / testing process and ensuring sufficient product support and training is provided. To meet the challenges of this position, you will either have some initial experience in the UK tax software industry or looking for a first step into the sector from a technical tax background. You will need good user experience on tax software, possibly acting as a 'super-user' within a tax department in practice. In addition, you will have an intrinsic interest in IT and computing, developed either professionally through work on Excel / Access type products or from a more academic IT background. Strong written and communication skills are also required for this position.
