The primary objective of the Tax Specialist - Accounting and Reporting role is to work within the central Group Tax Accounting Department in Zurich, ensuring that the tax figures in the Quarterly and Annual Reports are correctly stated. This involves liaising with the Group Tax departments in relevant locations.
In order to substitute a team member who decided to reinforce a local team, I am looking for experienced professionals who enjoy working in a varied, dynamic and constantly developing environment.
The responsibilities include:
* Reviewing the corporate income tax P&L and balance sheet figures booked by locations on a quarterly basis and supporting calculations. This covers current and deferred tax and tax risk provisions.
* Assisting on an ongoing basis with deferred tax asset calculations for US and Swiss tax losses, including work in relation to profit forecasts used to support DTA recognition.
* Ensuring that group tax accounting processes are understood and dealsing with any queries that arise.
You will have a professional qualification in accounting or tax (or equivalent) and experience of working in ether a firm of accountants or commercially (ideally within a financial services organisation).
