This is an interesting and rare opportunity for a Tax Consultant to join the Tax Risk Management (“RM”) Team on a 12 month secondment to become a key member of the ACE review project team.
ACE reviews measure the extent to which this big 4's fundamental risk controls are applied and documented on individual client assignments in Tax. Ever-increasing regulatory obligations make it essential that the firm is sure that it is 100% compliant with all of the current regulations. The ACE review programme is a vital measure of the firm’s regulatory compliance as well as adherence to this Big 4's Global and UK RM
standards.
This is recognised by the Tax Leadership Team, which attaches great importance to ACE Reviews. The new ACE review format will be a year round rolling programme to cover the entire Tax practice; it will be managed and run entirely from within the RM team.
You will receive full training which will help you to know and understand the key risk areas. You will carry out the file reviews and explain to the client team where they have succeeded, or failed, to meet the RM standards which are being measured in the reviews.
You will receive day to day support from other members of the project team. Through contact with the client teams you will have an opportunity to expand your knowledge of the wide range of services provided by the Tax LoS and extend your network of contacts within Tax
