Working for a highly robust investment bank, this tax job sits within the securities services business division who are responsible for implementing outsourcing arrangements with investment management clients.
Your role will be to supervise the day to day running of the withholding tax reconciliation project team. This team comprises of five individuals.
The Supervisor will be expected to drive forward the progress of the project and resolve/escalate issues as they arise. Tax issues involve:
• Reconciliation of Withholding Tax Accruals to the Custodian records, for the entire IOS Client Base.
• Identification and allocation of the reconciliation breaks identified as a result of the above, ensuring a successful resolution is achieved within agreed time scales.
• Highlight any potential training or other issues within Operations and IOS Accounting and Reporting.
• Compilation of remaining issues in preparation for presentation to the Clients.
You will have Knowledge of Income and withholding tax processing including Manufactured Dividends.
