A challenging opportunity exists to work with this travel product retailer providing distribution and technology solutions for the travel industry. Our client is seeking an interim Tax Manager to assist for 6-12 months with a number of different ad-hoc tax projects.
You will take responsibility for the following projects:-
- Management of the provision of information for tax rulings and entity restructurings;
- Work with external advisers on the tax and WHT implications of LLC's;
- Identify and document current loans in place and identify any structural issues e.g. thin cap risks;
- Ensure funding structures are clearly documented and explained;
- Identify current WHT clearances in place and those required;
- Identify process improvements and action items required to implement a financing company, obtain sign off and work with accounting and legal to implement;
- Document best practice for tax, accounting and legal to provide a framework for future fundings and recapitalisations.
Candidates will ideally have had experience working within a Big 4 accounting firm with some experience in industry as well. You will have strong accounting skills and have the ability to project manage and keep track of a number of different work streams.
