This multinational engineering group seeks a Tax Manager to join their Surrey based team. This role is largely focused on international tax issues, but will also involve some exposure to UK tax issues in order to support the rest of the team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Suppotring the Head of Tax to manage the tax aspects of major transactions such as restructurings, acquisitions and divestments;
- Advising on the financing of overseas businesses in conjunction with the Treasury department;
- Ensuring the tax efficient repatriation of profits;
- Dealing with HMRC enquiries which relate to the group funding structures.
You will possess an appropriate tax or accounting qualification with strong analytical skills. With a close attention to detail, you will also have the ability to deal with professionals at all levels within the organisation and to explain concepts in a non-tax technical way.
