One of the ten major private oil companies in the world is searching for a Tax Manager for Den Haag (The Netherlands). This role will report to the Management in Madrid and will have complete responsibility for tax issues in The Netherlands. The candidate will mainly deal with the corporate tax compliance, the financing activities, transfer pricing issues, negotiation of contracts, restructuring operations and representing the Group’s interests before the relevant Dutch Tax Authorities as well as to follow up all tax provisions and developments relevant to the Group.
The position is one of high visibility within the Group and presents long-term growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Compliance with all fiscal obligations in The Netherlands
· Providing assistance fiscal planning and consulting to management in order to enhance the tax efficiency of the companies
· Preparing Transfer pricing documentation and related issues
· Financing structures
· Risk Management
· Tax reporting according to the principles established in Spain
· Tax Accounting
· Analysis, guidance and advice on corporate reorganizations
The Candidates:
Ideal candidates will have about 5-6 years of experience in Tax matters. Candidates must have deep knowledge of Dutch taxation including but not limited to the following fields:
· Dutch corporate income tax
· International Dutch taxation (tax planning for non Ducth corporations, reorganizations, finance structuring, etc.)
· Double Taxation Conventions (Tax Treaty issues, double taxation relief)
· Transfer pricing
· Additional experience relating to Spain taxation will be a plus
· Candidates will ideally have exposure to SAP
· Fluency in Dutch, English and Spanish is a must
Candidates must possess business acumen and provide value-added operational input to the management team. The individual will also need to be able to communicate and work effectively with a supervisor that is remotely located.

The candidate should be able to negotiate contracts, to represent the Group’s interests before the relevant Dutch Tax Authorities and to follow up all tax provisions and developments relevant to the companies involved.
