| Description: | An opportunity has arisen to join the European Head Office in-house tax department of a leading organisation.
Based in Central London the role will support the Group Tax and Treasury Director in all areas of EMEA taxation matters affecting the group, including specifically quarterly and annual tax accounting and reporting (both US GAAP and UK GAAP), UK corporate tax compliance, [international] VAT advisory service, merger and acquisition projects, preparation of transfer pricing documentation, and SOX documentation maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be ACA or CTA qualified, with experience gained in a Big Four firm or a multinational company, possessing strong written and oral communication skills at all levels. A solid understanding of UK corporate tax, payroll related taxes and VAT is essential, as is experience of tax accounting, both for internal reporting and annual group tax consolidation and statutory accounts purposes.
