Our client is a world leading blue chip technology brand.
Reporting to the Head of EMEA Tax, you will have responsibility for;
Tax Planning:
Support and evaluation of Tax Planning projects developed by the Group. Implementation, when appropriate
Try to improve Effective Tax Rate and Cash Tax rate the Group Companies in Israel
Evaluate cash deferral opportunities and implement when appropriate.
Business Tax support.
Minimise indirect taxes and reduce risk of exposures.
Ensure an outstanding support to the Group Israel business.
Support all acquisitions & integrations that may take place in Israel.
Provide tax Support to HR on the International Assignees process
Tax Fees.
Minimise and manage Tax fees, ensuring that the appropriate approvals are sought for use of outside consultants.
Legislative.
Review Israeli legislation and Court decisions for opportunities.
Consider and execute pro-active legislative changes where appropriate.
Tax Filings.
Ensure all tax payments of Group Companies in Israel are made on an accurate and timely basis, ensuring audit readiness
Ensure CIT returns are filed within 11 months and trued up to the accounts.
Ensure VAT returns for all Group Companies in Israel are filed accurately and on time.
Follow up and defence of Group Global Transfer Pricing strategy. Ensure all transfer pricing documentation is completed when appropriate.
Tax and accounting reporting.
Ensure that reporting to CHQ (Group Tax in the US) is timely and accurate.
Support accounting for FAS 109 and FIN 48.
Controls.
Comply with tax control testing and reporting requirements. SOX: maintenance of a satisfactory level on business controls of taxes (direct and indirect).
Support CHQ review of SOX controls.
Tax Audits.
Finish on a satisfactory manner any external or internal audit of Group Companies in Israel.
Communication
Attend to monthly SPIGT calls.
Ensure regular meetings with Group's Israel CFO.
Ensure that CHQ Tax Directors are also communicated on a timely basis of all the issues that may have an impact on the US tax position.
