An international media and entertainment company with an instantly recognisable brand are looking to hire a Tax Manager to join the existing London based tax team, supporting senior management with all tax obligations within the UK, Europe, Middle East and African regions.
You will have excellent local and US GAAP tax accounting knowledge, as the responsibilities for this role include managing all UK, German, Italian, Dutch and Nordic country tax compliance, including the preparation and reviewing of income tax returns, tax payments and employment tax filings.
In addition to the standard compliance and reporting function of this role, you will identify, research and propose tax planning opportunities within the region, assist with global tax projects as and when required and act as a point of contact for the business for all non-indirect UK tax matters, including monitoring of UK tax legislation.
The ideal candidate will have gained their tax knowledge within a major accounting firm and ideally have gained further experience within an in-house corporate tax environment. Candidates with a relevant professional qualification are preferred. (ACA / ACCA / CTA or similar)
