Despite global economic conditions, this well recognised MNC is in good health. They are experiencing exponential growth across the region which will continue. This independent contributor role is newly created and based in Singapore. It reports into the Tax Head and is nearly 100% advisory.
You will be involved in all facets of the business including new product development, supply chain, legal entity structure, R&D, planning and transfer pricing. Day to day this role will provide support for treasury, legal, finance and logistics and work closely with all the country financial controllers and the finance shared service centre to support tax audit and enquiry. Responsibilities also include the continued review and development of transfer pricing models, US corporate tax reporting where required and the management of external advisors.
With strong experience in both chartered and more recently a commercial environment, you will be CA or CPA, and have recent corporate tax experience and have managed projects. Previous Asian tax experience, Mandarin and written Chinese will be highly regarded. Also required are excellent networking and integration skills, tax research, first class communication skills and the confidence to work independently with little direction.
