*Developing and administering tax policies for the Americas, minimize the overall tax liabilities and ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
*Following up on tax legislation changes throughout the Americas and identify tax opportunities linked with the local and Americas business.
*Assisting in Americas tax planning for all entities in the Americas, including conceptualization, implementation and monitoring.
*Providing comprehensive tax support to acquisitions and business reorganizations.
*Providing leadership and guidance to monthly Americas financial closing process for income tax.
*Coordinating the Americas income tax compliance in accordance with local legislation and company policies.
*Reviewing tax returns and statutory accounts of all entities (Brazil, Canada, Mexico and USA) in the Americas.
Requirements:
*An Accounting/Finance Degree and a professional certification recognized by the ICPAS or equivalent organization.
*Minimum 5 years' tax planning and compliance experiences with a "Big 4" firm and/or multinational companies.
*Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization.
*Experience with a multinational company and knowledge of transfer pricing, will be an advantage but is not essential.
*Regional tax experience in Brazil, Canada, Mexico and USA is an advantage.
