Unlike some jurisdictions New Zealand law firms will look to common law educated lawyers to bolster their practice. You will have the opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of work, involving not only transaction support but also high quality tax structuring and tax advisory work. Firms are happy to offer a hybrid corporate/tax or banking/tax role if this is your preference.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior members of the team in relation to the provision of strategic tax advice to clients involved with corporate, financial and real estate transactions and projects.
