As a Tax Investigations Senior, you will be required to work closely with senior members within the investigations team as well as monitor work of more junior staff. This highly respected firm in North London will give you the opportunity to work on complex cases and support senior staff when required.
You will be responsible for ensuring that your own caseload is efficiently and effectively handled, conducting in-depth financial investigations into recoverable and associated property. You will conduct interviews with Respondents and third parties in accordance with standard office procedures, plan the investigation, review and order information in order to progress the investigation.
Presenting evidence in support of findings, you will set up cases and manage them in such a way to ensure that all statutory/regulatory and internal procedures are met. Working with senior staff you will check all work with significant risk before proceeding.
A good eye for detail is essential as you'll provide an analysis of budget overruns and inform manager/client if they result in additional work.
You will need to have at least 12 months tax investigations experience and demonstrate your knowledge of technical developments and their practical implications.
In return you will receive a salary of up to £50,000pa and the opportunity to progress quickly through this expanding team.
