This reputable City law firm, with offices in Europe and Asia, boast clients that are diverse and include major corporate organisations and financial institutions as well as government, prominent public sector bodies and individuals.

They are looking for assistance with the running of various HMRC enquiries. The nature of the enquiries vary but experience in any of HMRC’s specialist offices would be useful, including Large Business Service (LBS), Special Civil Investigations (SCI), or Charity Assets and Residence (CAR).

In addition to the above, they seek someone who is comfortable dealing with the tax affairs of both corporates and individuals.

It will be an advantage if you have any views/opinions/experience of the recent HMRC drive to develop tax profiles of taxpayers, but this is not essential.

Knowledge of the following would also be of benefit:

* Being fully trained to deal with both income tax and corporate tax enquiries and investigations
* Experience of working with a specialist HMRC office eg SCI, LBS
