A new interim role has arisen for duration of up to 6 months with a view of a permanent seat. The role of Group Tax Executive has arisen as a result of the promotion of the previous jobholder. The role will take an active part in ensuring that these opportunities are reflected on tax returns, tax payments and forecasts and that planning opportunities are reported on in an efficient, timely and correct manner to external investors and tax authorities.
The individual will report to the Group Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager, as well as providing compliance support and guidance to the Group. The Compliance, Reporting and Risk team will work closely with other members of the Group Tax Department (International, M&A and Projects and Indirect Taxes) to advise and report on planning initiatives as well as to provide processes to enable risk to be identified, measured, reported on and managed. On an operational basis, the individual will work closely with the Group and Sector finance teams to provide tax advice and counsel on ongoing business operations and integration activities.
