Job Description
Responsibilities of the Tax Analyst include, but are not limited to:
Researching and analyzing tax and accounting rules and apply findings to financial information to determine book/tax differences
Partnering with tax advisory and business units to investigate a wide range of tax issues related to business transactions for a variety of entities
Preparing and review federal and state and local tax compliance work product including tax returns, quarterly estimates and extensions
Assisting with quarterly Federal and State tax provision calculation and year end company financials
Assisting with tax compliance software testing and enhancements
Assisting in all Federal and State and Local tax audit related matters
Contributing to a flexible, stable, and team-oriented working culture that fosters development
Performing other related duties
Required Skills
2+ years of Corporate tax experience
Public accounting experience
Superior technical competence
Experience with Tax - State & Local; Research & Planning; Partnership; Corporate; Compliance
FAS 109 proficient
Desired Skills
Broker dealer and alternative investments/partnership experience
Experience with a Big 4 CPA firm
