Job Description
As the Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and reviewing of federal and state income tax returns, related measurements of estimates and extensions
Preparing and reviewing of federal and state partnership tax returns
Research, analysis and quantification of tax issues and preparation of written memoranda in support of conclusions
Interaction with financial accounting personnel in the preparation of the returns and in sourcing information to prepare the returns
Assisting in special projects as they arise, such as research issues surrounding book-tax differences, income tax issues and amended tax returns
Assisting with federal and state audits and miscellaneous notices, as required
Assisting with financial reporting requirements, including, but not limited to, consolidation of reporting units, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, monthly closing/consolidation tasks, and researching US GAAP application
Required Skills
4+ years of related experience
Tax-State and Local, Tax-Partnership, Tax-Corporate, Tax-Compliance and FAS 109
Desired Skills
CPA or parts passed
