This household brand is seeking a talented tax professional to join their finance team. If you are looking to make your first move in-house, then this position is for you. You will have excellent commercial tax exposure, a huge level of responsibility, and exposure to a range of finance issues.
The Role
* Manage timely and accurate reporting of tax returns for all business units in the group
* To ensure integrity and accuracy of the feeds into all tax returns and submissions
* To ensure that appropriate controls are in place and are monitored periodically to prevent misstatement to all taxes.
* To manage the year end tax appendices submission
* To take a lead in any new tax initiatives or projects, be they a HMRC enforced rate change, a tax point change or an in house brokering arrangement - so as to ensure efficient, timely and accurate submission of tax reporting.
* Be point of contact for all issues and be responsible for raising the commercial profile of tax within the business.
Qualifications/Experience required
* ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
* Excellent corporate tax knowledge
* Excellent tax accounting skills
