Your region will encompass Iraq, Egypt and Oman, amongst others. Reporting to the Tax Director, your main responsibilities will include:
* Tax Accounting - Managing and reviewing FAS 109 and FIN 48 provision;
* Tax Advisory - Advising the business on tax issues in your market and handling tax controversy;
* You will also be involved in tax planning for your region.
Requirements
* You will ideally be ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent) and have strong international tax experience gained in a Big 4 or multinational environment, preferably gained in theMiddle East.
* Driven, enthusiastic and a great team player
* Sound understanding of IFRS & US GAAP
* Able to travel internationally - 25%
Given the nature of the region you will be dealing with, fluency in Arabic is highly desirable, however not mandatory. Fluency in English is obligatory.
