This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the World?s leading commercial organisation on a long term 9 months contract role.

Reporting to the Head of Tax, the main purpose of the role is to prepare Tax returns to review stage and also assist with Tax accounting.

Detailed list of Responsibilities

1) Prepare Assigned Tax Computations and Returns ensuring that they are prepared in an accurate and timely manner.
2) Ensure work completed in accordance with company Standards
3) Prepare Tax notes for input to Statutory Accounts
4) Prepare Annual deferred and current tax true up's
5) Prepare draft response to correspondence from HMRC
6) Prepare quarterly current and deferred tax calculations.
7) preparing Adhoc Adjustments to tax returns e.g. Transfer pricing Schedule 23 etc.
8) Liasing with Deloittes and Controllers on Tax returns currently prepared By Deloittes.

Skills required

1) Broad experience in UK Business Taxation working for another multinational or a professional firm
2) Detailed knowledge of UK GAAP particularly Tax reporting standards
3) Recognised professional qualification
4) Effective communicator of complex tax issues
5) Effective project and prioritisation skills and able to work with minimal supervision and effectively as part of team
6) Experience in Tax accounting
7) Prepared to undertake limited amount of travel
8) Experience in use of ABACUS tax return software would be a benefit but not essential.
