New role has arisen for a reward specialist who alongside drafting skills has proven client development experience. This would suit someone from a large accountancy practice (CTA or ACA) or a share scheme lawyer, who has dealt with drafting and implementation of a range of share plans and executive rewards systems. However, the key to this job is to also have broader skills in developing client relationships, understanding broader tax implications, and having an innate commercial ability which enables you to sell yourself and your ideas to both internal and external clients.
