| Description: | Working for a leading specialist engineering and manufacturing group, part of an instantly recognisable Global group, you will perform a senior international tax planning and advisory role, taking responsibility for the international tax issues pertaining to big ticket deals.
This is a 100% project and advisory focused role and will give the post holder access to complex and highly commercial tax work. Working as part of a highly experienced team, you will help to structure transactions and deal with the tax issues relating to leasing and contracts, such as local withholding tax, application of tax treaties, permanent establishment exposure and basic US international tax issues. You are also responsible for ensuring that the deal documentation includes the appropriate tax provisions. You will also advise on structured transactions such as bulk sales of assets and securitisations.
You will have a relevant taxation qualification (CTA, international tax diploma or a legal background) and ideally will have some work experience working within a law firm/ international accountancy firm and the relevant commercial experience.
