A fantastic opportunity with one of the world's leading asset management houses has recently come available as a Senior Group Funds Tax Administrator. The role is a fantastic opportunity to gain more exposure into tax through a Financial Services environment as well as offering excellent progression opportunities.
You will be key in the daily monitoring of Loan relationship instruments for various funds and capital gains tax for various funds. You will also be required to review new tax exceptions and procedures, approximately 200 on a daily basis. Furthermore you will be doing monthly/quarterly tax and accounting reconciliations so it is crucial that you fully understand these reconciliations and how they will affect reporting numbers.
A successful candidate will be IMC qualified (or equivalent), demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of financial services industry through first hand experience at an asset management house along with having a good knowledge of Investments and their associated Tax and Accounting treatments. You must also have an awareness of securities taxation, in particular life insurance rules and CGT, and be studying or willing to study tax or accounting qualifications.
