In this exciting and challenging contract role, you will be required to assist in developing a tax efficient strategy for globalised / centralised Group operations whilst managing and implementing transformational projects for the Group as it continues its transition into a truly global integrated business.
This requires an individual with:
• Clear leadership, coordination and organisational skills to represent tax amongst cross functional teams focused on business re-engineering and establishing new businesses.
• Skills to provide support on business change initiatives to enhance tax efficiency by balancing tax risks and opportunities with operational necessities and desires.
• A good understanding and track record of practical application of permanent establishment rules, transfer pricing, CFC and exit charges is needed coupled with an awareness of related VAT and employment tax matters.
• Ability, experience and confidence to apply tax theory to a real environment knowing how to assess risk to adapt to business needs within complex projects.
Ideally, you will be ACA/ACCA/ATII qualified (or equivalent) with a track record of building organsational efficiency from tax planning in an operational/business environment, confident in communicating across functions and experience of working with or within global businesses.
