Our client is looking to recruit a Tax Manager to oversee Russia and the surrounding region with the person initially being based out of the EMEA headquarters in Luxembourg.
Joining part of a dedicated in house International Tax team and working closely with the European Tax Manager, you will have prime responsibility for the expanding Russian region.
Some of the key working areas will include:
* Corporate tax management of the Russian operations including the handling of tax controversy
* Transfer Pricing
* Proactively investigating ways to improve the groups tax profile starting with the company's business model
* Involvement with project based tax issues on a ad hoc global basis
* Supervision / Consulting on VAT and Custom duty matters
To be considered for this Tax Manager role for Russia you will ideally have between 5-8 years relevant tax experience, which can come from either a consulting or in- house industrial environment. In addition, it is essential that you are a Russian speaker as well as being fluent in English. You should also be able to demonstrate strong initiative, be able to work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Please note that this role within time will require the person to be based in Russia so being flexible on location is vital.
