Our client is a well known banking organisation that has a growing Private Client Department. Sitting within the overall Private Client Department is the Wealth Management Tax Advice team who will ensure the bank's private clients are reviewed for all tax products and structures. Much of the role will be to identify their residence and domicile status and work outwards with regards to structuring their tax affairs. You will work closely with the Private Bankers, Tax Product development team and external tax advisers. The role will be more to identify and raise the relevant tax issues as opposed to actually delivering the advice which will be carried out by the external advisers (generally lawyers or Big 4 advisers)
You may be within a Big 4 or leading Private client accountancy firm or already have made the move to a bank where you advise on private client tax issues. The role requires a robust character who can take a holistic approach to private clients affairs and someone who is ready to eventually lead the Wealth Management Tax Team.
Ideally you will be ACA, CTA or STEP qualified and at Senior Manager or Director level. Salary will range from £70,000 - £120,000 plus benefits. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join this exceptionally talented and successful team that works as a close and friendly unit.
