The Research and Development group of this leading Big 4 firm has opportunities for Consultants/Senior Consultants to join their busy team. This group is diverse comprising a multi-disciplinary team which provides R&D Tax concessions/grant advice and services to a broad spectrum of corporates across industries including mining, manufacturing, IT and pharmaceuticals.
Innovation in Australia will receive a boost following the release of the venturous Australia report especially through new R&D tax credit proposals. Our client has a vibrant R&D tax specialist practice advising on R&D and project planning across the full spectrum of the Australian economy from innovative entrepreneurs through to Australia’s largest companies.
Responsibilities include:
• Identification, reporting, costing and submitting various projects across a variety of industries – in particular R&D concession and other government grants.
• Liaising closely with clients’ technical specialists to gain an understanding of their R&D activities.
• Preparation of reports outlining key R&D activities and preparing letters of advice to clients with details of how their R&D operations should be structured.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business/Accounting, IT, Science, Mining or Engineering discipline. Preferably you will have had some experience in an R&D consulting environment. You must have excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office with excellent accounting and numerical skills. You must be confident in nature and possess strong written and verbal communication.
