Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
take into account commercial considerations with the structure and design of employee share plans;
research employment tax issues;
marketing and developing client/ target opportunities;
relate plan design to the wider business objectives of the client;
structure employee plans in the context of company sales, purchases, flotations and other transactions;
communicate the impact of plans with shareholders;
advise on the tax implications of plans and bonuses for both the employer and employee;
project management;
meet and advise clients; and
advise on international share plans.
Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience
You will need to have previous experience of providing share schemes and employee benefits tax advice ideally with management experience;
Be motivated and have drive; confronting and overcoming obstacles to progress within team;
Be able to apply broad knowledge to problems, suggesting and where appropriate, implementing solutions appropriate to client situations;
Able to balance the ad hoc demands of a range of work and responsibilities without disruption to other team members or subordinates; and,
Able to build an extensive and active internal network which crosses geographical and client service boundaries and contributes to the network to enable others to share his/her knowledge.
