Duties
• Ensure accurate completion of personal tax returns and queries within timescales and budget
• Manage and develop good rapport with allocated clients in order to ensure retention and identification of additional business opportunities
• Identify and generate additional work from the existing client base e.g. IHT planning etc. and seek referrals of new clients
• Maintain department client care standards in order to meet and exceed client’s satisfaction expectations
• Support managers in servicing clients allocated to them
• Work with other members of the team to ensure departmental objectives are achieved
• Supervise the delegation of compliance work to junior team members
• Liaise with Line Manager to ensure any personal tax issues or other issues affecting the client are advised to other departments, particularly financial services department, in order to identify further business opportunities.
Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience
• Ideally, either studying towards or CTA qualified
• Experience of working within a personal tax team
• Client-focused
• Commerically aware
