Are you looking to take the next step in your career in personal taxation? There is a brilliant opportunity at a West End based Top 50 firm for a Personal tax Semi Senior.

The Semi Senior will manage their own portfolio of clients and will be given autonomy to complete assignments of varying complexity from start to finish. Clients primarily consist of Owner Managed Businesses and High Net Worth Individuals. The department has a flat structure although Seniors and Managers are always on hand to help with queries.

The firm only recruit bright and ambitious individuals who are looking to grow their career within the firm. Unlike many tax departments, they don't recruit people to do compliance and stay in compliance - they want eager and motivated people who want to train towards becoming Charted Tax Advisors and develop into an advisory role.

They are hard working but also know to have fun, for instance throwing fancy dress Christmas parties where the partners get dressed up with everyone else and organising days out to Thorpe Park and Chessington! Requirements of candidates are: 12 months experience in personal tax; Experience in self-assessment, capital gains calculations; Experience of managing your own portfolio of clients.

The Tax in-House team focuses on the provision of tax professionals to the commercial and financial services sectors, providing recruitment solutions from part qualified ATT level tax assistants through to Heads of Tax with salaries ranging from ?25,000 to ?120,000 per annum across the following disciplines: Direct and Indirect Taxation, UK and International Taxation, Group Functions, In-house HR taxes specialists and niche roles such as specialists in banking products or insurance.
